James Fisher Angola Joint Venture

www.jamesfisherangola.com

James Fisher Angola is a Joint Venture between James Fisher UK (49%) and Bouclier Lda (51%). The company operates a varied fleet of vessels, latterly focusing on coastal tank ships, heavy lift Ro Ro vessels, nuclear fuel carriers, cable ships, PSV, AHTSV and dive support vessels.

Our ship management team draws directly on the experience and expertise gained though running our own fleet. We adopt the same quality standards for third party vessels, adapting them to suit a customer’s particular.

The true value that James Fisher Angola Lda can bring to an Oil & Gas or Offshore Operator is through its ability to act as an integrator of a variety of services and to then act as a project manager of those same services rather than just simply being a supplier of vessels… should a potential customer simply wants to secure a vessel we nearly always suggest that they go to the market and contract directly with vessel owners or sometimes vessel brokers, in these circumstances we cannot add value, as we directly own some type of vessels share other with company partially owned by us.

However if what the customer really wants is a solution to a problem or a solution to a challenge that comes from the supply of a vessel, combined with an accompanying range of services such as Diving Services, ROV Deployment& Inspection Services, Mooring Placement, Mooring Management or Mooring Removal, Floating Hose Replacement or Management, Vessel Berthing, Ship to Ship Transfer of Crude Product etc, together with the project management of the same then JFAL is the perfect solution.

James Fisher Angola has the ability to deliver a complete solution in a truly integrated seamless manner and offer our customers a one stop shop for all their Marine Project needs.

The fleet versatility means we are able to fulfill customer requirements in the fields of oil drilling and production and offshore construction and maintenance work. Whether it be platform supply, emergency response and rescue work, anchor handling or subsea support, James Fisher Angola has the fleet to MEET your needs, the people to DELIVER and the determination to SUCCEED.

Using our larger and more sophisticated vessels, we provide support for the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of offshore facilities, the deployment of underwater remotely operated vehicles, or ROVs, sea floor cable laying and trenching services.

Our diversified fleet of vessels provides a broad range of other services to offshore oil and gas operators, including transportation of drilling materials, supplies and crews to drilling rigs and other offshore facilities and towing of drilling rigs and equipment from one location to another.

World-class vessels state of the art, modern supply vessels deliver what you need where you need it, safely, securely and on time. New builds with the latest design features allow you to accomplish a wide range of tasks at sea. A rigorous maintenance schedule means reduced downtime and dependable service.

Backed by reputable principals with more than 165 years of experience, James Fisher Angola is poised to play a bigger role in local industry as one of the major contractors in marine transportation for offshore installation projects, especially the oil and gas sectors.
